This upcoming preschool year will be a little different for my girls… they’ll be eating lunch at school! I’m excited that they are transitioning more into “big kid school”, but I’m also anxious about what to pack in their lunches!
Will they eat what I pack? Will it keep well in their lunchbox before it’s time for lunch? And most importantly – is it something I feel comfortable feeding them? It is a whole new world for me and I’ve got a lot of learning to do. One thing I can always count on them eating is chips!
In preparing for school, we’ve been trying out new lunch items these last few weeks and we’ve become big fans of the new Green Giant™ Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chip – Garden Ranch and Green Giant Multigrain Sweet Potato Chip – Barbecue are both excellent lunch items for my girls. (And for me too!)
With 18 grams of whole grain, these new snack chips are made with real vegetables, and have 40% less fat than regular potato chips! I’ve found myself snacking on them a lot lately!
The two newest flavors are Roasted Veggie – Garden Ranch and Multigrain Sweet Potato Barbecue. Other flavors include Sweet Potato – Sea Salt and also Roasted Veggie – Zesty Cheddar. My favorite were the Multigrain Sweet Potato Barbecue – they were a great, zesty barbecue flavor and the sweetness of the sweet potato was a great pairing. If you like Ranch, the Garden Ranch flavors offer a great flavoring of green peppers!
I’m excited to send my girls off to school this year with these tasty new chips. And I feel good knowing that their lunch bags will come back empty each day too!
As you prepare for the school year, try adding some Green Giant Veggie snack chips to your children’s lunches!
Have you tried the new Green Giant Veggie Snack Chips?
