Our sweet Molly was born four years ago with Down syndrome. It wasn’t something my husband and I were expecting it, but our ‘path’ in life suddenly took another direction and what we thought would be a difficult journey has turned into something fantastic, loving and incredibly fun too.

She’s Got Personality
Her speech may be delayed, but at four years old – Miss Molly has an incredible personality. She loves playing dress-up and cooking in her play kitchen. And if you’re sitting on the couch, I can guarantee you that she’s going to steal your seat (on purpose) the moment you stand up.

Love Is A Beautiful Thing
Nothing melts my heart more than seeing Molly wake up each morning and run to give her sister a hug. At just 20 months apart, they have an incredible bond – a friendship that grows more each day. We don’t rely on older sister Maggie to teach Molly right from wrong, but she loves helping her sister and is a wonderful role model for her.
No Fear
Molly has no fear when it comes to trying new things (except vegetables). I approach every new situation with a little fear that it may be too overwhelming for her and she always proves me wrong. Whether it’s a parade at Walt Disney World, meeting new friends or just going for a walk – she loves exploring and seeing new things. And as her mom, I’ve gained a new perspective at seeing things through her eyes.

Cassie
I love reading about Molly! She looks so grown up in the first picture. So she is a typical kiddo with not wanting to try new veggies..lol Sounds like my girls.

Thank you so much, Cassie! Eating veggies is a never ending battle around here!
