4 Things To Love About Kissimmee’s All Star Vacation Homes #AllStarVacationHomes

by Carrie with Children with 3 comments

During my recent trip to Walt Disney World for the premiere of Disneynature’s new film, Monkey Kingdom, I had the opportunity to stay in one of All Star Vacation Homes properties inside Kissimmee’s Acadia Estates neighborhood, just a few miles from the Walt Disney World Resort.

The house was filled with amenities and luxuries that offered all the comforts of my own home… and for a few days – it was my home!

Here’s a look at why families will love staying with All Star Vacation Homes

A Quiet Retreat

My vacation house – 8017 Acadia Estates Court – featured five bedrooms with room to sleep 12 people. And while you think that may sound crowded, it wasn’t at all. My fellow housemates and I each had our own private retreat and space to call our own.

My room was one of the three master suites. I had a large, garden tub, king-sized bed with my own flat screen television and since my room was on the ground floor, it opened right up on to the pool. Close to heaven!

Fun for Kids – Big and Small

What I found really unique about All Star Vacation Homes is that the garages have been converted into media rooms – complete with a huge projector wall and a comfy couch, perfect for a family movie night. There’s even a PlayStation2 for the gamers in the house.

The upstairs foyer was a place for fun too – we had a full-sized pool table, a desktop computer (in case you don’t want to bring your own. Also, free wifi!) and a real arcade Pac Man. So much fun!

And, it wouldn’t be Florida unless you have a pool. I could picture my kiddos splashing and playing, making great memories. It was also a welcome sight to see that there was a safety fence installed around the pool to keep everyone safe. After a long day at the parks, my retreat each evening was a glass of wine (or two) and a soak in the hot tub.

All the Comforts of Home

All Star Vacation Homes come ready for you to move right in – they are stocked with everything you might need, except for food and snacks but the grocery store is just a short ride up the road. From pool towels to dishwashing soap, paper towels, plates, utensils – there was even a blender and a crock pot.

While unpacking, I realized I forgot my shampoo and bath toiletries – no worries, there was plenty in the bathroom – including a hairdryer. And in the laundry room, I was happy to see an iron and ironing board and complimentary detergent – I helped myself to doing a load of laundry while I was there.

Convenience

When you arrive at your All Star Vacation Home, there’s no key! Each home is equipped with a personal door code – unique to your stay. Just enter the code and you’re in and ready to relax. Our neighborhood – Acadia Estates, also had a security gate and we were also provided that digital code for entry.

I kept the codes written down in the Notepad app on my phone for easy access. Super easy, secure and convenient.

Since we visit the Disney parks often, I hope to return sometime soon with my family and treat them to the luxurious life of All Star Vacation Homes.
